Arkady Grigoryevich Adamov

Arkadi Grigorjewitsch Adamow ( Russian Аркадий Григорьевич Адамов; born June 13, 1920 , † June 26, 1991 ) was a Soviet writer.

Life

Adamow comes from a Russian family of writers. He studied at the Aviation Institute for four semesters until the Soviet Union entered the war . When the war broke out, he volunteered for the front. After his time in the military, he completed a distance learning course at the History Faculty of Lomonosov University until 1948 . Adamow is considered to be the founder of the Soviet crime novel.
