Arledge Armenaki

Arledge J. Armenaki (born 1949 in Portland , Oregon ) is an American cameraman and university professor .

Life

Since Arledge J. Armenaki was the son of a pilot in the United States Navy , he spent his childhood in Morocco and London , England, among other places . He was enthusiastic about photography from an early age, so that he studied at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography from 1973 to 1976 , where he received his Bachelor in Performing Arts . After showing his first independent camera work with the blaxploitation film Heroes of the Night in 1979 , he continued to make television films and B-movies such as Dennis - The Quälgeist , Greetings from the Beyond andWitch Bitch - Death from Beyond .

Since 1995 Armenaki has been a lecturer in camera at various universities, including from 1990 to 1995 at the Brooks Institute of Photography and from 1995 to 2005 at the North Carolina School of the Arts . Since 2005 he has been Assistant Professor of Cinematography at Western Carolina University .
