Armando Bandini

Armando Bandini (actually Antonio Burlando , born June 5, 1926 in Genoa , † May 27, 2011 in Rome ) was an Italian actor and voice actor .

Life

After the end of World War II , Bandini first played with the "Teatro Sperimentale Luigi Pirandello" in his hometown, then with the "Piccolo Teatro Duse" and with the cast around Gilberto Govi . After moving to Rome, he was seen on revue stages and took part in television programs early on. Since 1959 he has also played supporting roles in feature films, in which he mostly acted as a secretary, priest or bank clerk. Among his around 50 appearances, the one of the President in È arrivato mio fratello from 1985 stands out. In addition, he worked as a voice actor and lent his voice to numerous cartoon characters.

Bandini was married to his colleague Daniela Igliozzi .
