career
Armando Hernández began his career in the youth division of his home club Atlante . As a professional he was then under contract with the clubs Atlas Guadalajara and UAG Tecos , which are based in the metropolitan area of Mexico's second largest city, Guadalajara . After winning the only championship title in the club's history of Tecos (1993/94), Hernández moved to Puebla FC , where he was under contract until 1999.
