The Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( Bosnian / Croatian Vojska Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine (VFBiH)) was the armed force of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within Bosnia and Herzegovina . It was founded in 1995 under the Dayton Agreement . It was made up of the former parties to the conflict, the mostly Bosniak army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the mostly Croatian Croatian Defense Council . In 2005, the Federation Army was integrated with the Army of the Republika Srpska to form the state-owned Bosnian-Herzegovinian armed force .
