Armin Conrad

Armin Conrad (* 1950 in Quakenbrück ) is a graduate economist and works as a journalist, reporter and moderator. Since 1995 he has been one of the two editorial managers of Kulturzeit at 3sat , initially together with Rainer Michael Schaper , since 2005 together with Monika Sandhack .

After finishing school in Quakenbrück and graduating from Artland-Gymnasium , Conrad studied economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . After an internship at the “Neuen-Ruhr-Zeitung” in Essen, he worked as a radio reporter and editor at Süddeutscher Rundfunk and from 1979 as a radio reporter and presenter for Südwestfunk. From 1986 to 1990 Conrad worked at Hessischer Rundfunk as an editor for “ Zeitfunk ” and “Unterwegs in Hessen” and as a film author for “Plusminus”, “Titles, Theses, Temperaments” and other formats. From 1990 he worked for “aspekte” and “Morgenmagazin” before becoming one of the two editorial managers of “Kulturzeit”.
