Arnaldo Genoino

Arnaldo Genoino (born July 25, 1909 in Rome , † October 15, 1982 ibid) was an Italian film director .

Life

Genoino initially worked as a journalist and painter. From 1948 he made numerous short films in which he a. a. also worked with Giuseppe Maria Scotese and Cesare Zavattini , and for newsreels; he was also assistant director for several feature films . For the most part, however, Genoino acted as production manager for companies such as "Orsa Maggiore", "Capitolium" and "Documento Film". In 1958 he directed two lavishly produced films in which Viktor Tourjansky was the artistic director.
