Arndt Kiehnle

Arndt Kiehnle (* 1973 in Ebingen ) is a German lawyer and university professor at the Ruhr University in Bochum .

Life

Kiehnle studied law at the University of Tübingen from 1997 to 2001 . After his first state examination in 2001, Kiehnle worked as a research assistant for Jan Schröder . Following his second state examination in 2003, with which he completed his legal clerkship at the Hechingen Regional Court , Kiehnle completed his doctorate in the same year at Schröder in Tübingen. iur. from. Subsequently, he worked as Schröder's research assistant until 2009. In 2011, Kiehnle completed his habilitation at Schröder with the previously unpublished book enrichment compensation due to legally ordered loss of rights and received the venia legendi for the subjects civil law, German legal history, commercial law and comparative law.

After substituting professorships at the Universities of Gießen and Erlangen-Nürnberg , Kiehnle worked again as a research assistant at Wolfgang Forster from 2012 to 2013 . Since the 2013/14 winter semester, Kiehnle has held the chair for civil law, German and European legal history at the University of Bochum .
