Arne Jessen

Arne Jessen (born June 23, 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German television presenter .

Life

After training as a publishing clerk at Gruner + Jahr and several long-term internships, u. a. at radio stations OK Radio and Radio Schleswig-Holstein, followed in 1996 by an internship at Radio Hamburg. In 1998 he was a presenter and editor at Sat.1 in the program “Sat.1 17.30”. He also carried out these activities from 1999 to 2003 in the daily “Nachrichten” at ProSieben and N24 . In 2003 he was the presenter of the program " Der Bachelor " and a year later for "Die Bachelorette" on RTL. From 2005 to 2006 Arne Jessen worked for “Gute Laune TV” in Munich. Then he went back to his hometown Hamburg, where he had a daily afternoon broadcast on the radio station Oldie95 until 2008. Arne Jessen has been working for Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) since 2008 and moderated the program “Mein Afternoon” there until the end of 2019. He is married and lives with his wife and two children near Hamburg.
