Albert von Böhme
Albert von Böhme , also Arnim von Böhme , ( March 31, 1804 in Dresden - July 6, 1886 there ) was a German opera singer ( tenor ) and vocal teacher .
Life
Böhme received his training in the singing choir of the Dresden court theater. From 1822 to 1870 he was engaged there as tenor buffo . During Richard Wagner's time at the Dresden Court Opera (1844–1848) he was its Kapellmeister. In addition to singers such as Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient , Joseph Tichatschek and Anton Mitterwurzer, he has effectively asserted himself . He also worked as a singing teacher.
