Frankenhausen District Court
The Frankenhausen district court was a Schwarzhausen-Rudolstädter and later a Thuringian district court with its seat in Frankenhausen .
The Frankenhausen District Court was formed as part of the implementation of the Reich Justice Laws in 1879. It was the successor to the Frankenhausen Justice Office , which had been the entrance court since 1850.
It was subordinated to the District Court of Rudolstadt and this to the Higher Regional Court of Jena .
With the formation of the state of Thuringia, the court organization was reorganized. The Frankenhausen district court, however, remained as a Thuringian district court in 1923. In 1949 it was dissolved and its court district was assigned to that of the Sondershausen district court .
The court files are archived at the Thuringian State Archives in Rudolstadt.
