District court Steinach

The District Court of Steinach was a district court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1952 and was based in the Thuringian city of Steinach . The direct predecessor of the district court was the Steinach District Court Deputation of the Sonneberg District Court, which existed from 1870 to 1879 .

On July 1, 1870, a district court deputation in Steinach was set up to facilitate judicial business dealings for the localities further away from the district court in Sonneberg. The district of this judicial authority comprised the former communities Steinach, Haselbach , Igelshieb , Lauscha and Steinheid (with Limbach ).

With the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, this court deputation was converted into the Steinach District Court. On January 1, 1900, the community of Ernstthal was separated from the district court of Graefenthal and assigned to the district court of Steinach; on January 1, 1902, the newly created community of Eschenthal was incorporated into the district court district.

After the formation of the state of Thuringia has become necessary judicial reform introduced on 1 October 1923 to extend the Steinacher parish to which until then the district court Oberweißbach counting places Neuhaus am Rennweg and Narrow beech as well as the previously counted for District Court Gräfenthal Haselbacher district Hohenofen .

If the Meiningen Regional Court had been the next higher instance since 1879 , the change to the Rudolstadt Regional Court district took place on September 1, 1949 .

After the district court of Steinach had been enlarged again with effect from October 1, 1949 to include the communities of Hasenthal and Spechtsbrunn from the district court of Gräfenthal plus the community of Siegmundsburg , which had been separated from the district court of Schalkau , the Steinach district court was dissolved on January 1, 1952 and its assigned District to the district court of Sonneberg .
