Volksberg District Court

The local court of Leutenberg was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1923 and was based in the Thuringian town of Leutenberg .

history

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in the Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt in Leutenberg, the district of which was unchanged from the district of the previous People's Office of Justice . It was one of the 14 courts that were subordinate to the District Court of Rudolstadt .

The judicial reform that became necessary after the formation of the state of Thuringia led to the abolition of the court on October 1, 1923. It continued to operate as a branch of the Saalfeld District Court .
