Stadtilm District Court

The Stadtilm District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1949 and was based in the Thuringian city of Stadtilm .

With the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Stadtilm in the Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt , the district of which was formed from the district of the previous Stadtilm Justice Office and thus the town of Stadtilm and the villages of Angelroda , Bücheloh , Cottendorf , Döllstedt , Dörnfeld an der Ilm (with manor district), Ehrenstein , Ellichleben , Elxleben , Geilsdorf , Gösselborn , Gräfinau , Griesheim (with manor district), Großhettstedt , Großliehaben , Hammersfeld , Hengelbach , Kleinhettstedt , Kleinliehaben , Nahhaben , Oberilm , Oesteröda , Paulinzella , Singen , Solsdorf , Thälendorf and Wüllersleben included.

After the formation of the state of Thuringia in 1920, the judicial districts were redistributed on October 1, 1923. Hengelbach and Paulinzella were added to the Königsee District Court , Oesteröda, Solsdorf and Thälendorf came to the Rudolstadt District Court , Bücheloh and Gräfinau went to the Ilmenau District Court and Angelroda and Elxleben were referred to the Arnstadt District Court . In contrast, the Arnstadt court were the places from the district Behringen , Niederwillingen plus upper Willingen , from the district court district Blankenhain the place Dienstedt and from the district court district Liebenstein the village Trassdorf be incorporated in the District Court District Stadtilm.

The superordinate instance was the District Court of Rudolstadt until September 1, 1949 , then the District Court of Erfurt for another month .

On October 1, 1949, the Stadtilm District Court was repealed and its entire district was assigned to the Arnstadt District Court.
