District Court of Ohrdruf

The district court of Ohrdruf was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1952 and was based in the Thuringian city of Ohrdruf .

history

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha , the district of which was formed from the district of the previous judicial office of Ohrdruf and consequently from the city of Ohrdruf and the localities Crawinkel , Dietharz , Emleben (with Wannigsroda ), Georgenthal , Graefenhain , Heerda , Herrenhof , Hohenkirchen , Nauendorf , Petriroda , Schönau vor dem Walde , Schwabhausen , Black Forest , Stutzhaus , Tambach , Tambuchshof , Wechmar , Wipperoda and Wölfis . The place Wechmar was assigned to the district court of Gotha on January 1, 1925 and the municipality of Emleben on October 1, 1938 .

The higher authority was the district court of Gotha until it was abolished on September 1, 1949 , and then the district court of Erfurt .

The district court Ohrdruf, whose district still at October 1, 1949 to the hitherto the District Court Zella-Mehlis belonging place Oberhof had been extended, was terminated effective as of 1 January 1952, his district the District Court Gotha risen.
