Weimar District Court

The Weimar District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of six District Courts (AG) in the district of the Erfurt Regional Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is the independent city of Weimar in the middle of Thuringia . The 640 square kilometer jurisdiction extends to the city of Weimar and the Weimar county land belonging to a district Ballstedt , Bechstedtstraß , Bad Berka , Berlstedt , Blankenhain , Buchfart , Buttelstedt , Daasdorf a. Mountains , Döbritschen , Ettersburg , Frankendorf , Großobringen , Großschwabhausen , Hammerstedt , Heichelheim , Hetschburg , Hohenfelden , Hopfgarten , Isseroda , Kapellendorf , Kiliansroda , Kleinobringen , Kleinschwabhausen , Klettbach , Kranichfeld , Krautheim , Lehnstedt , Leutenthal , Magdala , Mechelroda , Mellingen , Mönchenholzhausen , Nauendorf , Neumark , Niederzimmer , Nohra , Oettern , Ottstedt am Berge , Ramsla , Rittersdorf , Rohrbach , Sachsenhausen , Schwerstedt , Tonndorf , Troistedt , Umpferstedt , Vippachedelhausen , Vollersroda , Wiegendorf and Wohlsborn . Around 108,300 people live in it.

The Erfurt District Court processes insolvency proceedings . For the leadership of the trade , cooperative and partnership register is Jena District Court jurisdiction. The central dunning court is the Aschersleben District Court .

The court, which was previously housed in the listed building at Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße 60 , is now located at Ernst-Kohl-Straße 23a .

Superior courts

The Erfurt Regional Court is superordinate to the AG Weimar . The competent higher regional court is the Thuringian higher regional court in Jena .
