history

As a result of the revolution of 1848, there was also a reform of the state structure in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach . The judiciary and administration were separated and the patrimonial courts were abolished. For example, the Justice Office Apolda was created for the district of the previous Roßla office, which is exclusively responsible for jurisdiction, and its district consequently includes the municipalities of Apolda , Bergsulza , Darnstedt , Dorfsulza , Eberstedt , Flurstedt , Herressen , Heusdorf , Mattstedt , Nauendorf , Neustedt , Niederroßla , Niedertrebra , Oberndorf , Oberroßla , Obertrebra , Oßmannstedt , Rannstedt , Reisdorf , Schöten , Sonnendorf , Stadtsulza , Apolda , Wersdorf , Wickerstedt and Zottelstedt . The districts of Gebstedt (with Schwabsdorf homestead ), Ködderitzsch and Pfiffelbach were incorporated into the Buttstädt Justice Office . Due to the relocation of Niederroßla since 1850, the seat of the justice office was in the town hall of Apolda .

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the previous judicial office became the Apolda District Court, the next higher instance was the Weimar Regional Court , which was established at the same time . The district of the Apolda court was expanded to include the places Großheringen , Großromstedt , Hainichen , Hermstedt , Kleinromstedt , Kösnitz , Lachstedt , Pfuhlsborn , Stiebitz , Stobra , Utenbach , Wormstedt , rooms of the disbanded Justice Office Dornburg . From 1883 to 1884 Johannes Hunnius worked as a judge.

After Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach was dissolved in the state of Thuringia in 1920 , the judicial reform carried out on October 1, 1923 expanded the Apolda district court district to include Rödigsdorf , Oberneusulza and Untersteusulza .

Since September 1, 1949, as a result of the dissolution of the Weimar Regional Court, the Erfurt Regional Court was the higher authority.
