Stephan Sahm

Stephan Sahm (born January 13, 1959 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German medical ethicist , musician and composer.

Life

Sahm is the chief physician of the Medical Clinic I of the Ketteler Hospital in Offenbach. After studying philosophy, he completed his habilitation in 2006 at the University of Frankfurt am Main in the subject of ethics in medicine. He writes regularly for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . Sahm is a lecturer at the Senckenberg Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine . He composed the music for the sacred music plays Clara of Assisi and Elisabeth of Thuringia .
