The District Court of Buttstädt (until 1879 Justizamt Buttstädt ) was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1850 to 1952 and was based in the Thuringian city of Buttstädt .

history

As a result of the revolution of 1848, there was also a reform of the state structure in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach . The judiciary and administration were separated and the patrimonial courts were abolished. For example, the Justizamt Buttstädt, which is exclusively responsible for jurisdiction, was created for the district of the previous Buttstädt office, whose district consequently includes the municipalities of Buttelstedt , Buttstädt, Ellersleben , Eßleben , Großbrembach , Großneuhausen , Guthmannshausen , Hardisleben , Kleinneuhausen , Leutenthal , Mannstedt , Nermsdorf , Niederreißen , Nirmsdorf , Oberreißen , Olbersleben , Rastenberg , Rohrbach , Rudersdorf , Teutleben and Willerstedt included. While the former Buttstädter Amtsort Orlishausen the Justice Office Großrudestedt was attached, came to the Justice Office Buttstaedt from the Office Weimar places Haindorf , Krautheim and pastures and out of the office Roßla the places Gebstedt (with Schwabsdorf ) Ködderitzsch and Pfiffelbach added.

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the previous judicial office became the Buttstädt District Court; the next higher instance was the Weimar Regional Court , which was established at the same time . The district of the Buttstadt court remained unchanged. Johannes Hunnius was a judge from 1879 to 1883 .

After Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach was dissolved in the state of Thuringia in 1920 , the judicial reform carried out on October 1, 1923 expanded the district court district of Buttstädt to include the towns of Kleinbrembach and Vogelsberg, which previously belonged to the district court of Großrudestedt .

Since September 1, 1949, as a result of the dissolution of the Weimar Regional Court, the Erfurt Regional Court was the higher authority.

On January 1, 1952, the Buttstädt District Court was repealed and its district was added to the Weimar District Court .
