Kleinneuhausen is a municipality in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia . The municipality belongs to the administrative community Kölleda , which has its administrative seat in the city of Kölleda .

history

The place was first mentioned in 815. The place belonged to the part of the county of Beichlingen , which in 1448 came to the counts Botho zu Stolberg and Heinrich von Schwarzburg as rule Frohndorf and in 1505 it was sold to Hans von Werthern . In 1613 the place was flooded as part of the “ Thuringian Deluge ”. During the Thirty Years' War , troops of General Octavio Piccolomini looted the village in 1641 . In 1739 a new church could be consecrated.

After the Wars of Liberation against Napoleon, Kleinneuhausen and other southern locations of the Electoral Saxon Office Eckartsberga did not become part of Prussia , but to the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach after a decision by the Congress of Vienna . This incorporated the place into the Buttstädt office in 1817 , which was opened up in 1850 in the Apolda administrative district of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach. In 1820 a severe fire raged . In 1838 a volunteer fire brigade was founded. In the revolutionary year of 1848 a “communal guard” was formed. In 1871 a new town hall was inaugurated. In 1906 a warrior club was founded. In 1909 Kleinneuhausen received a telegraph station with a public telephone, and in 1910 a water tower with a water pipe to the buildings.

In 1920 Kleinneuhausen came to the state of Thuringia. In 1922 the memorial was inaugurated for the soldiers who died or went missing in the First World War . During the Second World War , over 60 men and women from Poland and Russia had to do forced labor for farmers . A Polish woman was a victim of forced labor. In April 1945 Kleinneuhausen was occupied by US troops , which the Red Army followed in early July . The place was part of the Soviet Zone and from 1949 the GDR . So he made the corresponding social changes. It was not until 1960 that LPG types I and III were founded. After the political upheaval in 1990, the LPG became AGROS-Pflanzenproduktions-GmbH.

Attractions

  • Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Mauritius and Andrew from 1739. Currently (2015) the church is being renovated. The heavily damaged tower dome, weighing 18 tons, was lifted off in 2007 and in 2011 by the engineering office for structural planning Dr.-Ing. Hans-Reinhard Hunger was replaced by a new one.
  • Churchyard with historical grave monuments and memorial for the fallen of both world wars (plaque with the names of 30 victims of the Second World War)

The former train station and today's stop in neighboring Großneuhausen is on the Straussfurt – Großheringen railway line (Pfefferminzbahn) . Regional trains run every two hours on line EB 27 of the Erfurt Railway to Sömmerda and Buttstädt .
