Liebenstein District Court

The Liebenstein District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1923 and was based in Liebenstein, Thuringia .

history

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court of Liebenstein was established in the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha , the district of which was from the district of the previous Liebenstein Justice Office with the former communities of Arlesberg , Dörrberg , Elgersburg , Frankenhain , Gera , Gossel , Gräfenroda , Kettmannshausen , Liebenstein, Manebach , Neuroda , Rippersroda and Traßdorf and the village of Gehlberg , which until then belonged to the Zella Justice Office . The higher authority was the Gotha Regional Court .

On October 1, 1923, the Liebenstein district court was repealed and the districts Dörrberg, Frankenhain, Gehlberg, Gossel, Graefenroda, Kettmannshausen, Liebenstein and Rippersroda the district court Arnstadt , Arlesberg, Elgersburg, Gera, Manebach and Neuroda the district court Ilmenau and Traßdorf dem Stadtilm District Court assigned.
