In 1850, the offices that were still partly from the Middle Ages were abolished and replaced by district offices, judicial offices and accounting offices, and the last remaining patrimonial courts were also repealed. With the repeal of the Eisenach Regional Court on September 1, 1949, the Meiningen Regional Court became the next higher instance. Exactly one month, the Kaltennordheimer judicial district expanded again by the abolition of the Stadtlengsfeld district court to include the communities of Bernshausen , Dermbach , Dietlas , Gehaus , Glattbach , Lindenau , Mebritz , Oberalba , Oechsen , Stadtlengsfeld , Unteralba , Urnshausen , Weilar and Wiesenthal .
