District Court Heldburg

The district court of Heldburg was a district court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1949 and was based in the Thuringian city of Heldburg . The district court was preceded by the Heldburg regional and municipal court between 1829 and 1850 and the Heldburg district court deputation between 1850 and 1879 .

In 1829 the administration and judiciary were separated in what was then the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen and the previous offices were abolished. So the previous office of Heldburg was formed with the towns of Heldburg and Ummerstadt , the market town of Hellingen and the villages of Albingshausen , Billmuthausen , Colberg , Einöd , Erlebach , Gellershausen , Gompertshausen , Haubinda , Holzhausen , Käßlitz , Leitenhausen , Lindenau , Poppenhausen , Rieth , Schlechtsart , Schweickershausen , Seidingstadt , Völkershausen , Volkmannshausen and Westhausen the district and town court of Heldburg. On December 1, 1850, the name was changed to District Court Deputation Heldburg.

As a result of the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the court deputation finally became the Heldburg District Court, which was assigned to the Meiningen District Court .

On October 1, 1949, the Heldburg District Court was repealed and its entire district was assigned to the Hildburghausen District Court .
