Albingshausen is a district of Heldburg in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .

Albingshausen is located in the Heldburger Land and 25 kilometers from Hildburghausen. It is partially located with its district on the Thuringian-Bavarian border. In terms of traffic, the district can be reached via Landesstraße 2640.
history
The earliest documented mention of the place so far took place on December 7, 1230. In the 16th century the place was temporarily abandoned, so it was desolate . The residents moved to Rieth . In 1720 the people rebuilt their village on the Selbach a little away from the former place. Since then, the houses and buildings have been given special care and are now listed . In 1899 a hunter killed the last wolf in Thuringia in the corridor of the village . Today 125 people live in the village. The parish parishes with the neighboring town of Rieth.
