Arno Reinfrank Literature Prize

The Arno Reinfrank Literature Prize was founded in 2005 by Jeanette Koch, the widow of the writer Arno Reinfrank , who died in 2001 , and the city of Speyer . The award for German-speaking writers has been presented every three years since 2006 and is endowed with 5000 euros.

The Arno Reinfrank Literature Prize commemorates the writer and his diverse references to his home in the Palatinate and to Speyer, where the Palatinate State Library keeps his estate. According to the announcement, the authors who have been awarded for “their outstanding achievements in poetry or prose”, like Arno Reinfrank, should be “committed to the ideals of humanism and the Enlightenment”.

Youth award

The Arno Reinfrank Youth Prize has been awarded every two years since 2007. It is advertised , also by Jeanette Koch, for the poetry and short story categories and according to age groups.
