Arno Fischbacher

Arno Fischbacher (born July 20, 1955 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian actor, theater director, lecturer, business vocal coach, speaker and author.

Life

Arno Fischbacher is a trained master goldsmith and actor. After training at the drama school of the Elisabethbühne Salzburg , he was part of the ensemble of today's Salzburg Theater from 1978 to 1997 . During his time as an actor, he also held various organizational functions at the theater in the areas of organization, marketing and technical management. From 1988 to 1997 Fischbacher was commercial director of the Elisabethbühne Salzburg.

In 1997 he left the stage to help set up the Austrian private broadcaster Welle 1 Music Radio Salzburg . After a year as program director and speaker, he switched to the training industry in 1998 and started his own business as a business trainer. As a speaker, trainer and coach, he works with board members, TV and radio presenters, speakers, founders, executives and employees of commercial companies in Germany and Austria in order to train them for discussions, media appearances and presentations.

In 2000, Arno Fischbacher founded StimmeAT , the “European network of voice experts”. Members include voice and breathing teachers, speech and voice therapists, moderators, actors and medical specialists.

Teaching

In addition to his work as an actor and theater director, Arno Fischbacher held various teaching positions. At the University of Salzburg , he taught applied dramaturgy at the Institute for German Studies and speaking in radio and TV at the Institutes for Communication and Sports Science between 1992 and 2002 . He also ran a university course in sports journalism on the same subject. He also taught art marketing and strategic public relations for cultural companies at the International Center for Culture & Management (ICCM), also in Salzburg.
