Arnold Atienza

Arnold Ilagan Atienza (born September 29, 1972 ), also known as Ali Atienza , is a Filipino athlete, politician and news anchor. From 2005 to 2007 he was advisor to the President on youth policy. From 2001 to 2007 he held a position as head of the sports program and the downtown development program of Manila .

Atienza graduated from De La Salle University with a BS in physics . He then obtained his Master of Public Administration from the University of Manila City .

He is the son of the former Mayor of Manila Lito Atienza .

In the 1990s, Atienza won gold at the Asian Taekwando Championships for the Philippines' Taekwando Team.
