Arnold Daniel von Arentsschildt , also Arentsschild (born August 22, 1789 in Scharnebeck , † January 28, 1852 in Celle ) was a German officer .

origin

His parents were the Hanoverian Major General Friedrich Levin August von Arentsschildt (* June 12, 1755 - December 10, 1820) and his wife Sophie Magarethe von Marschalck (* October 20, 1748; † February 9, 1792) from the Bachtenbrock family.

Life

Arnold Daniel von Arentsschildt studied at the University of Jena . In 1809 he became a member of the Corpsland Team Guestphalia Jena. After completing his studies, he started an officer career in the Kingdom of Hanover . He was Major General and commander of the 3rd Cavalry - Brigade of the Hanoverian army .

family

On June 18, 1822 he married Freiin Karoline Wilhelmine von Marschalck (* July 17, 1800 - September 19, 1836) from the Bachtenbrock family. The couple had several children:

  • Wilhelm Otto Daniel (May 1, 1823 - June 28, 1873), royal Prussian colonel
  • Luise Karoline Ulrike (* October 25, 1824) ⚭ 1844 Hermann von Wrede (* August 18, 1813 - May 11, 1887), Royal Hanoverian Major General of the Cavalry
  • Auguste Dorette Frederike Amalie (* August 8, 1826; † May 116, 1892) ⚭ Ludwig von Hammerstein-Gesmold († June 19, 1901)
  • Kornelia Melusine (December 20, 1828 - November 19, 1902), canon
  • Fredrike Karoline (* August 2, 1831: † September 22, 1895) ⚭ 1855 Otto von Dannenberg (* 1812; † February 15, 1896), parents of Georg von Dannenberg
  • Karl Detlev (April 29, 1835 - May 3, 1894) ⚭ 1862 Sophie Beatrice Ferenczy de Vizkelet (May 1, 1842)
