Arnold Forrer

Arnold Forrer or Nöldi Forrer (* 7. October 1978 in Stein SG ) is a Ostschweizer wreath chair . Like Jörg Abderhalden, he belongs to the Northeast Swiss Wrestling Association and the Wattwil Wrestling Club .

Arnold Forrer in 2001 in Nyon wrestling champion and won in August 2013 for the fourth time wrestling on the Schwägalp .

Forrer has won numerous wrestling festivals of all kinds. In his career so far (as of March 2020) he has won a record number of 147 wreaths and is now part of the “Hunderterklub”, the most exclusive group in the world of wrestling. These include 6 federal wreaths (1998 Bern, 2001 Nyon, 2004 Lucerne, 2007 Aarau, 2010 Frauenfeld, 2013 Burgdorf), 28 partial association wreaths, 34 mountain wreaths and 79 cantonal wreaths.

In 2019, Forrer was ranked 155th in the official annual points list of the Swiss Wrestling Association .

Private

Forrer had to have a hip prosthesis inserted at the end of 2019. However, his goal remains to win 150 wreaths.

Forrer lives in Stein (SG) and works as a master cheese maker. He is the father of a daughter.
