Arnold Latwesen

Arnold Latwesen (also: August Arnold Latwesen ; * January 18, 1870 in Kassel ; † October 3, 1951 ibid) was a German writer , editor of works by the dialect poet Hartmann Herzog and headmaster .

Life

Arnold Latwesen married Amalie Katharina Wilhelmine Elisabeth on July 20, 1895 , daughter of the dialect poet Hartmann Philipp Wilhelm Herzog. As Herzog's son-in-law , Latwesen , who had meanwhile risen to the post of rector of the Kassel Girls' Middle School Luisenschule , published a pamphlet-like collection of poems by Hartmann Herzog through which the Kassel dialect was first introduced into literature.
