Arnold Weissman

Arnold Weissman (* 1955 in Hof ) is a German economist .

Life

While still studying business administration, he had to take over his parents' company. At the same time he completed his studies in Nuremberg in 1979 and obtained his doctorate in 1982. rer. pole. The basis of his research and consulting work is the “Weissman System”, which he published for the first time in 1987, a holistic leadership and management approach for family businesses. With the publication of the Weissman system, he was also appointed professor of business administration at the University of Regensburg in 1987 . Since then he has been teaching corporate management for family businesses.

Since 2002 he has headed the Strategy Competence Center at the St. Gallen Management Program and is a lecturer for the Boston Business School and the St. Gallen Management Institute.

Arnold Weissman lives in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg, is married and has four children. In addition to family and work, he has made golf his favorite hobby and is the author of numerous publications on strategy development, management theory and corporate governance.
