Arnold von Hochstaden
Arnold von Hochstaden (partly also von Honstaden ) (* before 1240 , † after 1254 ) was burgrave and marshal of Westphalia .
Life
Hochstaden was not related to Archbishop Konrad von Hochstaden . Rather, he was burgrave of Hochsteden Castle, which had come into the possession of the archbishop in 1246.
In the service of the Archbishop he was temporarily as Marshal of Westphalia the secular representative of Konrad von Hochstaden in the Duchy of Westphalia . Hallenberg owed Arnold von Hochstaden the town charter after 1240. He granted the town of Winterberg town charter in 1250 and had the settlement fortified.
In 1254 Konrad von Hochstaden gave Arnold the Inveldt castle loan in pledge possession.
