The Arroyo El Potrero (also: Arroyo del Potrero ) is a river in the south of Uruguay .
The left tributary of the Río de la Plata runs in the area of the Maldonado department between the seaside resorts of Ocean Park and Chihuahua and forms the natural drainage of the Laguna del Sauce .
