The Arroyo Sauce is a river in the south of Uruguay .
It rises in the Abra de Castellanos northeast of Cerro Aguiar . On its course to the west it forms the department border between Lavalleja and Maldonado and passes Paso del Sauce and Paso Sauce . It flows as a left-hand tributary south of Solís de Mataojo into the Arroyo Solís Grande , after the Arroyo Mataojo has joined it immediately before .
