Arsames ( old Persian Aršāma ; Greek: Ἀρσάμης) is the name of the following people:
- Arshama I , grandfather of the Persian king Darius I
- Arsames (son of Darius I)
- Arsames (satrap of Egypt) , son of the previous one, the Megabyzos (the younger) 455/4 BC. Appointed satrap of Egypt and who supported Darius II in the overthrow of his predecessor Xerxes II .
- Arsames (son of Artaxerxes II) , who lived in 358 BC. Was murdered.
- Arsames (Arsanes) , an Achaemenid and father of Darius III.
- Arsames (Satrap of Cilicia) , last Persian governor of Cilicia
- an Armenian king who founded Arsamosata, a contemporary of Antiochus I or Antiochus IV.
- Arsames is also the name of an Iranian death metal band.
