Arsi Negele is a city in the southern center of Ethiopia about 225 km south of the capital Addis Ababa . It is located in the largest province of Ethiopia, Oromiya, in the Arsi region .

Arsi Negele is located near the Abiyata Lake in the Abijatta Shalla National Park . The area is characterized by savannah and acacia forests.
climate
