Artūras Žurauskas (born August 20, 1961 in Molėtai ) is a Lithuanian administrative lawyer and diplomat .

Life

After graduating from secondary school, he graduated from 1979 to 1984 with a degree in law at the Vilniaus universitetas and from 1987 to 1989 he was an apprentice at the Soviet Academy of the Interior Ministry of the USSR. In 1991 he received his doctorate there in criminal procedural law . From 1984 to 1987 he worked in the Soviet Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior as an interrogator, from 1989 to 1993 he taught at the Police Academy of Lithuania . He has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania since 1993, and has been ambassador since 2001 (in Azerbaijan since 2012 ).
