Art coaching

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Art coaching , creative coaching or art coaching is an ambiguous term that comprises various approaches to coaching may designate. The various definitions cover a range from a creative approach to coaching to the use of art in coaching. The equally possible importance of coaching in the field of artistic development (artists, art lessons) is not dealt with here, but with Impresario and Art Agent .

Points of view

  • On the one hand, art coaching is seen primarily as the art of finding the most effective approach in every situation, in order to meet different challenges and to develop new innovative approaches to meet the needs of the mentee by using technical means, methods and perspectives creatively united.
  • Within systemic coaching , it describes the view that proper coaching is more than just the correct application of learned techniques and methods, changing the direction of clients' attention from problems to solutions , expanding and changing the stories in which they live and by stimulating and promoting developments through stimulating contexts.
  • Creative coaching in groups is intended to promote practical social skills and close the gap between set goals and everyday practice. The parallels to art are seen in the design of social space , relationships and interaction and the resulting growth. On the other hand, art coaching is seen as the release of untapped creative potential with and through art, as Olaf-Axel Burow especially represents. Methods such as art coaching make it possible to develop inner models of one's own wishes and needs and to make them usable for team building and common goal setting.
