Arthur Lehmann (politician, 1885)
Arthur Lehmann (born September 21, 1885 in Neumünster , † after 1945) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Live and act
After attending the nine-grade middle school in Neumünster, Arthur Lehmann completed a four-year commercial apprenticeship, which was supplemented by attending the commercial school. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War with the 8th Company of Reserve Infantry Regiment 258 and the 11th Company of Reserve Infantry Regiment 28, in which he was deployed as a telephone squad leader and was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class . From September 1918 to 1919 he was a prisoner of war.
In 1930 Lehmann joined the NSDAP ( membership number 321.852). In this he was initially involved as a cell manager , treasurer and head of the Gau audit department. In May 1936 he became Gauamtsleiter in the Gau Cologne-Aachen . In 1943 he became Gauhauptamtsleiter and senior division manager of the party.
From April 1938 until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945, Lehmann was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 20 (Cologne-Aachen) .
