Arthur Matlik

Arthur Matlik (born September 2, 1977 ) is a German football player and coach .

From 1990 to 2003 he played for SG Wattenscheid 09 , for which he played a game in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1997/98 season. On December 5, 1997, Matlik was substituted on in the 0: 4 away defeat at SC Freiburg in the 46th minute for Olaf Skok . After a brief stint at Vorwärts Kornharpen in the first half of the 2003/04 season in the Oberliga Westfalen, he was under contract with Wuppertaler SV in the second half of the season in the Regionalliga Nord . From 2004 to 2006 he was back on the ball for Wattenscheid in the Oberliga Westfalen and in the Regionalliga Nord.

In the summer of 2006 he moved to Preußen Münster . With the Prussians he qualified in May 2008 as Westphalia champion (1st place in the Oberliga Westfalen) for the newly founded Regionalliga West . His expiring contract was not renewed after the 2009/10 season. Then Matlik moved to the Westphalia division Hombrucher SV in the summer . In January 2011, SpVgg Erkenschwick signed him for the NRW League .

In June 2011 VfL Bochum signed Matlik as the head coach of its first women's team. He signed a contract until 2013. With the team, he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga South in his second season at the end of the 2012/13 season . He left the club after promotion.
