Arturo Maschke

Arturo Maschke Tornero (born January 18, 1902 in La Serena , † November 4, 2001 in Santiago de Chile ) was a Chilean lawyer, economist and politician.

Career

Maschke was Chilean finance minister from September to December 1946 and a second time in February 1950 - as the successor to Jorge Alessandri . From 1953 to 1959 he was President of the Banco Central de Chile .
