Arturo Seoane (born May 24, 1913 in Durazno , † April 12, 1987 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

Defensive player Arturo "Gallego" Seoane played at club level from 1931 to 1945 for the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División . Even in September 1945 he was still on the first team there. In 1931 his club won the Uruguayan Championship. He was also active for the Durazno-based Club Atlético Wanderers founded on May 7, 1914 .

National team

Seoane was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed three international matches between August 9, 1936 and January 10, 1937. He did not score an international goal. He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the 1937 South American Championship . He also took part in the Copa Juan Mignaburu with Uruguay in 1936 .
