Stephen Doughty

Stephen Doughty (* 15. April 1980 in Llandaff , Cardiff , Wales ) is a British politician of the Labor Party .

Life

Doughty attended Corpus Christi College , Oxford and studied philosophy, political science and economics at the University of St Andrews . In the by -election in November 2012, made necessary by the resignation of Alun Michael , he was able to defend the constituency of Cardiff South and Penarth for Labor, and has been a member of the British lower house since then . He is also a member of the Co-operative Party and at the time of his candidacy in 2012 he was Chairman of Oxfam in Wales.
