Mauritz Lindström

Arvid Mauritz Lindström (born in Västmanland in 1849 ; died in Stockholm in 1923 ) was a Swedish painter.

Life

Lindström attended the Kungliga Konstakademien from 1869 to 1872 . In 1871 he was Carl Larsson's roommate. After completing his studies, he continued his education in Munich and Paris . He lived in London in the 1880s . Two of his paintings, which are characterized by their simple motifs and subtle coloring, are in the collection of the Stockholm National Museum .
