Arwed August Maximilian Martini (born October 21, 1824 in Bautzen , † January 7, 1892 in Glauchau ) was a German politician.

Live and act

Martini held the office of mayor of the Schönburg residence city of Glauchau from 1851 to 1889 . As a representative of the 14th urban constituency, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1860 to 1866 . In 1871 he was appointed by King Johann as one of the six magistrates of Saxon cities to be appointed by him in the I. Landtag Chamber, of which he was a member during his remaining term of office as mayor.

For his services to the city of Glauchau, he was given honorary citizenship in 1889 .
