Arylidgelb (also Arylamidgelb ) is a group of green to reddish-tinged yellow, synthetic organic monoazo pigments that are produced with acetoacetanilide derivatives as coupling components. They are used for paints , plastics and printing inks .

The first pigment in this group, CI Pigment Yellow 1, was patented in 1909. The pigments were marketed under the name Hansagelb by Meister, Lucius & Brüning , later Hoechst AG .
