Weissenburg District Court
The Weißenburg regional court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1808 to 1879 and was based in Weißenburg in what is now the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .
location
The Weißenburg Regional Court bordered the Ellingen Regional Court in the north (later Ellingen Regional Court ) and the Pappenheim Regional Court in the south (later the Pappenheim Regional Court ).
history
In 1808, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of the older order of Weißenburg was established. This came first to the Altmühlkreis , from 1810 to the Oberdonaukreis and from 1817 to the Rezatkreis , which was renamed Middle Franconia in 1838 .
From 1862 the district court of Weißenburg was only responsible for the jurisdiction. The administration was taken over by the newly created district office Weißenburg .
In 1879 the District Court was converted into a District Court (the District Court of Weißenburg i. Bay. ) By the Courts Constitution Act.
structure
The district court originally only consisted of the Weißenburg tax district , which was administered by the Weißenburg Rent Office:
- Weißenburg with Aumühle , Birkhof , Bosmühle , Habermühle , houses on Wülzburger Berg , Hohenmühle , Lehenwiesenmühle, Lettenmühle , Lohmühle, Rohrberg, Rohrmühle, Rohrwald , Schnürleinsmühle, Siebenbronnermühle, Silbermühle , Sommerkeller and Wülzburg
In 1818 there were 3,965 residents in the Weißenburg district court, who were divided among 984 families and lived in 589 properties.
In 1820 there was only the municipality of Weißenburg in the district court.
In 1846 the district court of Weißenburg was one square mile in size. There were 4383 inhabitants, spread over 25 localities (1 city, 1 fortress and 23 desert areas ).
In 1863, Weißenburg withdrew from the district court as a city in the immediate vicinity.
On October 1, 1857, seven communities were ceded by the Greding Regional Court :
- Bechthal (with mountain mill),
- Burgsalach ,
- Gersdorf ,
- Indian Book ,
- Nennslingen with Gutzenmühle, Kappelhof, piston mill , tank mill , Schwabenmühle and stone mill ,
- Raitenbuch ,
- Reuth with St. Egidi .
A municipality was ceded by the Ellingen Regional Court:
- Oberhochstatt with Gänswirthshaus , houses on Wülzburger Berg , Kehl , Niederhofen and Wiesenmühle .
Thus the regional court of Weißenburg was composed of eight rural communities.
