Drug information
The drug information is the procurement, handling, processing and dissemination of drug- related information. It covers the five areas
- pharmacological information ( drug safety , pharmacology , clinical chemistry )
- technological information ( pharmaceutical technology (galenics), biopharmacy , manufacturing)
- economic information (e.g. cost / benefit assessments)
- legal information (e.g. licensing law , labeling, marketability)
- Information management (document management, usable sources, information processing, quality assurance)
For pharmacists there is the possibility of further training to become a specialist pharmacist for drug information.
