as-Suwaiq
As-Suwaiq (also Al-Suwaiq) is a small town with around 28,000 inhabitants in the Sultanate of Oman . As-Suwaiq is located directly on the Persian Gulf and the Route 1 coastal motorway . As-Suwaiq is administratively also a Wilaya of the Shamal al-Batina Governorate . There is also an old fortress in as-Suwaiq.
