Ash Shatra ( Arabic الشطرة, DMG aš-Šaṭra , also Shatra or Shatrat al-Muntafiq /شطرة المنتفق) is an Iraqi location in Dhi Qar Governorate .
The Sumerian ruins of Lagasch are located around 20 kilometers to the west .
